Martina's Place Tours

San Pedrillo is the first station to reach by boat in Corcovado. Leaving for this daytrip at 6 am, a 40 min. boat ride takes you to this beautiful station situated directly on the beach. From there, starts a 3 hour guided hike deep into the forest. There is the possibility to view different species of monkeys (Howler, Spider, Capuchin) as well as Coati, Great Curassow, Agouti, Sloth, Anteater, Crocodile – just to mention a few… After a delicious picnic at the station and time to relax, you start the 1 ½ hour hike up to the waterfall, where you sure like to take a refreshing swim in the lagoon. Because this hike follows the river, you may spot a Kingfisher, Heron or Jesus Christ Lizard. When you return to the station, the boat will already be waiting to take you back to Drake Bay. We return at about 2.30 pm- unless we see whales or dolphins on the way. In that case we get back little later…

The price includes transportation, naturalist guide, park entrance and lunch.
